Dear residents of LYNDON,
Here are the crime updates for LYNDON between 25th SEPTEMBER - 03rd OCTOBER 2025.
BURGLARY
A shed on Rock Grove has been broken in to. The suspect climbed over the victim’s fence, gained access to their shed and stole a tent. This happened around midnight.
VEHICLE CRIME
There was an attempt motorbike theft on Hobs Meadow at around 3pm in the afternoon. When a witness began filming the suspects, the suspects have then kicked the wing mirror off the witness’ vehicle, causing damage to the vehicle.
I/We have been speaking to residents where these offences have occurred and checked CCTV at the locations and we have targeted patrols in the area at key times.

GOOD NEWS
We have recovered a BMW 5 SERIES that was stolen from OXFORD area following a car key burglary during the night. The vehicle was found in LYNDON, early hours in the morning, shortly after it has been reported to police.
We have also conducted patrols at OLTON PRIMARY SCHOOL and LYNDON SCHOOL due to issues raised around parking at drop off and pick up hours. We have also contacted the council with the issues raised and made them aware.
